Eighty-year-old Blanca Millerstrom's family last spoke to her by phone at about 1 p.m. Tuesday. But her family could not reach her Wednesday and found her car and dog missing from her home.
The car, a 2007 brown Nissan Altima, was discovered with the dog inside on Bay Place near Oakland's Lake Merritt but Millerstrom was not nearby. She was believed to still be in the Oakland area.
Late Wednesday night police announced that Millerstrom had been found, but did not provide any other details.
