Suspect arrested in triple SF Mission District stabbing

SAN FRANCISCO

One suspect has been arrested in the stabbing, which apparently happened during a fight reported at 6:07 p.m. near the corner of 23rd Street and South Van Ness Avenue.

Police found three people suffering from stab wounds and rushed them to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two victims' condition has been upgraded and their injuries are no longer considered life-threatening, police said.

Two suspects were quickly detained after the stabbing and one has been arrested in connection with the crime, police said. The stabbing is not believed to be gang-related.
