Minnesota Dairy Queen manager's good deed gets attention

MINNEAPOLIS

Joey Prusak saw a visually-impaired man unknowingly drop $20 this week. A woman behind the man quickly pocketed the cash, then claimed it was hers.

Prusak refused to serve the woman unless she returned the money. She didn't, and left the store.

After that, Prusak turned to the man, "I told him, you dropped $20, I would like to give you $20 on behalf of myself and Dairy Queen to try and make things right," he said. "They think what I did was so extremely nice when really all I was doing was the right thing to do."

Another customer saw this and wrote to Dairy Queen. Her email has been circulated on social media. Now people across the world are thanking Prusak for his act of kindness.

The phone at the Dairy Queen has been ringing off the hook from people calling to congratulate Prusak. He says he'd like to own his own DQ someday.
