Details emerge about Oakland casual carpooler robbery suspects

We're learning new details about one of the suspects who police say held up a group of casual carpoolers as they waited for rides in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood Monday morning.

Dajon Ford, 17, was a football standout at McClymonds High School in Oakland. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, several guns were found in Ford's home. Officials with the Alameda County Court system confirm that Ford is being charged as an adult in this case.

He and the other suspect, Delante Johnson, 22, are facing 10 counts of armed robbery.
