The power went out around 10 a.m., causing airport officials to brace for possible delays to flights departing from that terminal, spokeswoman Kim Domerofski said.
Domerofski said a Delta Air Lines flight to Salt Lake City that was scheduled to leave at 10:20 a.m. was delayed by about 80 minutes, but she did not know whether the delay was caused by the outage.
The terminal was back up and running on generator power a short time after the outage began, and power was restored around 12:25 p.m., Domerofski said.
She said the cause of the outage remains under investigation.
PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said the airport outage was not related to the utility.
