Firefighters battle two-alarm blaze at Oakland home Sunday

A two-alarm fire that sparked a home in Oakland is under control Sunday morning, a dispatcher said.

Crews responded to a report of a blaze at a one-story, single-family home in the 1600 block of 79th Avenue at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, the dispatcher said.

A second alarm was called shortly after crews arrived.

The fire was declared under control at 12:11 a.m., according to the dispatcher.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
