Power briefly knocked out to Graton Casino

ROHNERT PARK, Calif.

At 11 p.m. a hit-and-run driver crashed into a utility pole and knocked out power to more than 3,600 PG&E customers. Police are still looking for that driver.

The casino told customers to evacuate and the power was back 90 minutes later. Witnesses say when power was restored a few lights came on in the casino, but it was very dim. It also took a little while to get the machines back up and running. Customers said there was some confusion on cashing out chips, but they were allowed to do so after forming a line.

The casino is fully back up and running this morning.
