San Francisco may soon try a new strategy to try and prevent bike thefts in the city.

The San Francisco Examiner says transportation officials are considering a plan to install collective bike lockers, like those used in London.

They would be placed in street parking spaces. Just last month, San Francisco supervisors announced a goal of reducing bike thefts by 50 percent over the next several years.
