Tiny puppy rescued after getting stuck in storm drain

DALLAS

A Dallas resident first reported hearing a dog in the storm drain back on Nov. 16, according to ABC News. When Dallas Animal Services heard about the white lab they tried to rescue it, but couldn't find the dog. But when the puppy was sighted again, Dallas Animal Services headed back out, this time with help from Trinity Watershed and their remote-controlled camera.

They spotted the dog and were able to lure him out with food. Once the dog was lifted to safety, he was transported to a shelter where he was given a clean bill of health.

So many people have expressed interest in adopting the puppy that a drawing is being held this weekend.
