Just before 10:30 last night, officers tried to pull a car over for running a stop sign. A high-speed chase followed, with speeds reaching 100 miles-per-hour. It ended when the car hit a light pole and stopped against a house on Marlow Drive.
The passenger got out by himself and the driver was pulled out by police just before the car caught fire. One suspect is in critical condition. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
