New information is surfacing about the crash of an Asiana airliner at SFO back in July, ahead of government public hearings.

Sources tell the Associated Press that National Transportation Safety Board investigators will highlight "over-reliance" these days on cockpit computers and the need to adjust pilot training.

Investigators are expected to reveal that Asiana pilots misunderstood exactly how the Boeing 777's automated speed-control features function.

Three teenage girls died in the crash.

The NTSB hearings begin Tuesday and will last two days.
