Oakland High School's basketball team plans to wear neon blue shirts with "NoH8" on the front and Fleischman's name on the back.
The team's athletic director says the shirts color represents the agender community.
Fleischman was wearing a skirt at the time of the attack and doesn't identify as male or female.
The suspect, Richard Thomas, faces felony assault and mayhem charges, with a hate crime enhancement.
