Covered California, the state's health insurance exchange, is holding extended hours Sunday to help people enroll.
The call center is open until 8 p.m. The number is 1-800-300-1506.
They've been receiving a high number of calls, so you may have to keep trying.
You can also apply online at CoveredCa.com.
Open enrollment continues through March 31.
Anyone who does not enroll by that date will face a penalty.
