Poll: People unlikely to diet after the holidays

Losing weight is apparently not a New Year's resolution for many of us.

In a new CNN/ORC poll, nearly 40 percent of those surveyed say they have no plans whatsoever of going on a diet after the holidays.

In fact, less than one in four say they will probably go on a diet at the start of the new year.

By the way, a recent study found that the best way to return to our pre-holiday weight is not by dieting, but by returning to regular meals and exercise.
