Grocery store to sell expired food products

Doug Rauch says "sell by dates" are not an indication of food safety. He's opening up a new market called Daily Table. The idea is bring affordable nutrition to inner cities of America. He says 40-percent of food produced in the U.S. is wasted each year. According to the FDA, most products passed their labels expiration are generally still safe to eat.

The plan is to buy up outdated, damaged or blemished food from grocery stores, restaurants and producers. The first Daily Table will open its door in Dorchester, Massachusetts in May.
