Mechanic John Bitmead has built an adult-sized version of the popular kid's car, the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. It runs on gas, has an air bag, and can travel up to 70 miles an hour.
"I thought what a wonderful idea; something like that but real, as soon as I thought about it, I said I know the car, it's got to be one of these," Bitmead said.
He likes the fact that his car doesn't have windows, like the original.
The vehicle took about 1,000 hours to build, at a cost of $6,500.
He's going to use the car to raise money for charity.
