Administrators at an all-girls Catholic high school in Concord are apologizing for a racially-insensitive event.

A group of students at Carondelet High School were planning a luncheon for Friday to celebrate Black History Month. The menu included fried chicken, cornbread, and watermelon.

Many students and parents were offended by the obvious stereotypes. Administrators plan to hold a diversity assembly to help educate the student body.
