VALLEJO, Calif. --
A Benicia first grade teacher, accused of serving food laced with marijuana to her colleagues at a potluck party, pleaded not guilty in a Vallejo court Friday.Teresa Badger was arrested last month and charged with three felony counts of poisoning. Police say Badger, who works at Matthew Turner Elementary School, brought the dish to a dinner at a private home last November.
Several guests reported feeling sick after eating Badger's dish; two women went to the hospital. A 15-year-old also reported symptoms after eating some of the food the next day.
Badger has been placed on administrative leave.
