Mother of young leukemia patient reaches out to first responders

RHODE ISLAND

Tyler Seddon says he'd love to be a firefighter or a police officer one day. But right now, he needs a bone marrow donor.

He was recently released from the hospital, and turns seven on March 6.

Seddon's mother is asking first responders everywhere to send him cards.

Seddon is currently undergoing chemotherapy to buy him some time while the search for a marrow donor continues.

Any first responders who would like to send Tyler a birthday card can send them to 96 South Main St., Pascoag, R.I. 02859.
