Strong winds destroy boats, cause flight pattern change at SFO

Strong winds forced a flight pattern change at SFO and destoyed boats on Oyster Point in San Mateo County on Wednesday.

Powerful winds pounded the Bay Area on Wednesday.

Strong gusts up to 50 miles per hour in some areas forced a flight pattern change at San Francisco International Airport.

The wind also forced cancellations to Alcatraz and destroyed some boats at Oyster Point in San Mateo County.
