Foster returned to Twitter to make the announcement Saturday, tweeting, "And for those wondering, I've been medically cleared by my doctor."
Foster played through several injuries last season, but a back injury that he aggravated in the loss to Kansas City finished his year. He had surgery in November.
Tate finished that game, despite cracking his ribs.
Foster took a hiatus from Twitter on March 4, 2013, sending his last tweet at 4:14am that day, but remained on Facebook and Instagram, posting a video of himself doing a back flip on Feb. 8.
