New book reveals Steve Jobs nixed Apple TV idea before his death

A new book about to be released from a former Wall Street Journal tech reporter says late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs nixed the idea before his death.

At a secret meeting in 2010, Jobs reportedly told high level executives they were allowed to ask him anything. One asked about the possible TV.

Jobs apparently said it wasn't going to happen because the profit margins are too thin.

This goes against what Jobs' biographer Walter Issacson says he was told by the late co-founder.
