The Silicon Valley Roller Girls will lose their arena, the San Jose Skate, on May 31. A new owner of the facility is closing it permanently. The Roller Girls are trying to raise $20,000 to find a new home arena.
They have a fundraiser page taking donations. The Roller Girls are not just a business; they have junior teams with girls ages seven to 17, who learn sportsmanship, empowerment, and community service.
