At least nine people were injured after an accident involving a Muni bus and F-line street car occurred on Market and 8th streets in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- At least nine people were injured after an accident involving a Muni bus and F-line street car occurred on Market and 8th streets in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon.

It appears the F-line street car collided with the back of a Muni bus. The damage does not look extensive.

According to firefighters, six people suffered minor injuries, two moderate injuries, and one person refused treatment.

How the crash happened has not yet been determined, but police say that Market Street is closed between 8th and 9th streets at this time.

Police said drivers can expect delays in the area.
