Apple introduces new gadgets, talks privacy battle

CUPERTINO, Calif. (KGO) -- In Cupertino on Monday, Apple made a big announcement about some small gadgets. CEO Tim Cook also thanked customers who've supported the company's fight against the FBI.

"I'd like to address something that I know is on the minds of many people this morning," said CEO Tim Cook. "It's the elephant in the room, it's possibly the biggest story in the country over the past months."

He went on to say, "We believe strongly that we have a responsibility to help you protect your data and protect your privacy."
