A bracelet that can tell you how much you've been exposed to UV rays is hitting stores next week.
The June Bluetooth by Netatmo is a black band with a gemstone-shaped sensor. The $99 bracelet communicates with your smartphone, telling you just how much sun you're getting.
Depending on your skin type, the app will calculate the suggested maximum daily exposure and allow the user to see when the UV index is the highest during the day.
"It's very important to monitor how much sun you get," said dermatologist Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton in an interview with Good Morning America. You might not notice the sunburn today, but you are getting cumulative sun damage, which is going to lead to sunspots and skin cancer."
The June bracelet will be available in three unique colors. Right now the app is only available for iPhones.
