MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg is making a new revelation about a tech rival.

The social networking executive says Google asked her to limit the number of employees Facebook hires from the search engine giant.

Sandberg made the statement in a new court document. In the filing, Sandberg says a senior vice president at Google contacted her in 2008 and asked her to limit Facebook's recruitment of Google employees.

Sandberg says she declined. This new filing is related to a lawsuit from Silicon Valley workers.

They argue Apple, Google, Intel and Adobe limited recruitment from each other to intentionally keep wages low.
