PG&E faces more criminal charges in connection with San Bruno explosion

The PG&E pipeline explosion on September 9, 2010 killed eight people and destroyed 38 homes in San Bruno.

PG&E is set to head back to court Monday to face additional criminal charges in connection with the deadly San Bruno explosion that killed eight people and destroyed 38 homes.

A new federal indictment issued last month accuses PG&E officials of obstructing its investigation.
It also charges PG&E with 27 counts for poor record keeping.

This indictment nullifies one in April that charged the utility with 12 felony violations.
