Report: Amazon's new phone to be AT&T exclusive

SEATTLE (KGO) -- Amazon may be getting into the phone business.

Several tech websites are reporting the online retail giant will unveil its new smartphone at an event on Wednesday in Seattle and that the device will be an AT&T exclusive.

Sources say the long-awaited smartphone will include retina-tracking technology and three-dimensional images that can be seen without special glasses.

Amazon hasn't revealed any details ahead of the big device launch event with founder Jeff Bezos. The company did, however, post a teaser video a few weeks ago on YouTube.
