MOFFETT FIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- The NASA Ames Research Center is celebrating its 75th anniversary by offering a living museum this month.
It will feature artifacts that highlight its involvement in space exploration research. The research center broke ground at Moffett Field in 1939.
It was named after Joseph Ames -- a founding member of the National Advisory Committee For Aeronautics.
The exhibits will display 17 pieces through July 31.
