OAKLAND, Calif. -- School officials in Oakland have dedicated a striking new mosaic.

Take a look. It's the last of five tile panels that have gone up at Oakland's Lincoln Elementary School. The piece is called "Panda's Paradise."

The panels are on the Caroline Yee Memorial Building. Yee was an Oakland educator who passed away earlier this year after an unexpected illness.

The artwork was inspired by similar mosaics on the trashcans in Oakland's Temescal District.

Those were created by the same artist.

The project cost about $22,000.
