7 On Your Side: Non-football activities for Super Bowl Sunday
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- We are steeped in Super Bowl events and still the big game is yet to come. However, not everyone loves football.
It turns out, there are plenty of non-football things to do on Sunday Super Bowl Sunday.
It's kind of the best kept secret. All the normally crowded places like restaurants and museums clear out on Super Bowl Sunday. It's a golden opportunity.

You can't get less football than the lush gardens, warm air, trains chugging around a Pan Pacific Replica at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.
Across the street, it's free admission day at the California Academy of Sciences.
Or join amateurs and pros dancing on skates to disco music in the park.
Down the road from the Super Bowl, anyone can become an athlete instead of watching them with the annual Guadalupe River Run in San Jose, which includes races for kids and adults along a scenic path.
Elsewhere, you could take in a showing of Kabuki theater in San Mateo.
There is an opportunity to learn to make chai tea at the UC Botanical Gardens. Or see the Novato Theater Company perform "A Midsummer Night's Dream" - Cajun style.
How about learning to juggle for free on Super Bowl Sunday at the Circus Center of San Francisco.
