SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- On Tuesday nights, ABC is taking you back to the 1980s -- a time of sex, drugs, rock n' roll, and serial killers.

In the new ABC thriller "Wicked City," a murderer played by Ed Westwick finds a nurse just as sadistic as he is.

Erika Christensen becomes the Bonnie to his Clyde. ABC7 News Reporter Leyla Gulen chatted with the stars.

Gulen: "What do you think it's about Ed's character that draw's Erika's character to you?"

Westwick: "He has the ability to manipulate possibly at the start and possibly throughout, but offer her something that she needs -- a sense of empowerment, a sense of safety, he makes her feel sexy. Then you have the playground of the Sunset Strip and all of those desires, all of those attitudes come alive."

The second episode of this new show airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. followed by ABC7 News at 11 p.m.
