Actress Lauren Bacall dies at age of 89

Actress Lauren Bacall has died at the age of 89, according to the estate of her late husband, Humphrey Bogart.

Bacall, who rose to stardom in Hollywood films in the 1940's, was married to Bogart from 1945 to 1957.

Bacall's death was confirmed Tuesday night by the estate run by Stephen Bogart, their son.

Bogart and Bacall co-starred in the 1944 film, "To Have and Have Not," the first of several movies they appeared in together.
