SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Are you ready for the weekend? Here are some fun ideas from our partners at Hoodline - the hyper local neighborhood website to find weekend activities in and around the Bay Area.

A Noh Christmas Carol

If you're interested in theater, how about a twist on a popular Christmas carol? The Theatre of Yugen presents, "A Noah Christmas Carol". It's an avant garde Japanese influenced retelling of the Dicken's classic. It uses the Japanees theatre styles of noh, kyogen, and kabuki.

The theater is located in the Mission , with the shows beginning Friday night and running through Christmas Eve. Don't miss them on Fridays and Saturdays at 7p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.

Brave The Bay

Check out The Brave the Bay event and take the polar bear plunge Sunday at 10 a.m. if you dare.

Or if that's not your thing: Do the Snowflake Shuffle, a 5k and fun walk.

Urban Air Market

Or get a group together for the Holiday Haul and see who can pull a cable car the fastest.

ABC 7 is a sponsor, so stop by and say hi to ABC7 News' reporter Jonathan Bloom who will be the host.

The Jack London Square Urban Air Market is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

More than 140 vendors will sell unique and sustainable clothing, jewelry, and home décor.

There will also be food trucks and a patio bar.
