BottleRock Napa Valley Festival begins today

NAPA, Calif. -- The second annual BottleRock Napa Valley Festival begins this afternoon, an event many people thought would never take place.

The event takes place at the Napa Valley Expo. Last year 120,000 concertgoers attended, but organizers were singing the blues. They lost $8 million and many vendors were not paid. A new ownership group has stepped in, steadied the bottom line, and is ready to go. There are 31 music acts today alone to open the festival.
