SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- We've partnered with the team at Hoodline - the hyperlocal neighborhood website - to bring you what's new and happening this weekend in San Francisco.

The 21st annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival is upon us, so who could say no to the San Francisco treat that tastes like heaven? The yearly event features chocolate taste testing, with a side of wine, brews or spirits.

There's also an ice cream eating contest and what's new this year is popular chefs will be in attendance. If that isn't reason enough to go, the party benefits the non-profit Project Open Hand, a senior lunch program that began in San Francisco in 1985.

Head to Ghirardelli Square from noon until 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20 to $60 and you can get them at the door, but they go quickly so you may want to buy them online.

The annual Autumn Moon Festival will be happening this weekend, as well. It's the 26th year for the iconic and free event held in Chinatown.

The grand parade is Saturday morning at 11 a.m. on California and Grant streets. The fun goes through Sunday at 5 p.m., when the famous dragon appears for the grand finale.
