ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The D23 Expo is the ultimate setting for Disney fans to express their love for their favorite Disney movies, characters and Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions. These Disney cosplayers look the part, but how much do they really embody their characters? We challenged them to show off their best character impressions.

Why just be Buzz Lightyear when you can be his slightly unhinged alter ego Mrs. Nesbitt?

Tracie Cotta spent a month creating her Ariel costume, complete with a rock for her to lounge on.

Mary Poppins fan Rachel Williams' take on everyone's favorite British nanny is practically perfect in every way.

"Who's your friend who likes to play? Bing Bong, Bing Bong!" There were more than a few fans dressed as Riley's imaginary friend from Inside Out, but Earl Bonovich nailed the elephant-cat hybrid made mostly of cotton candy.

This might not quite count as a character impression, but with its sarcastic tour guide and park-goer taking photos, this rig brought the Jungle Cruise straight from Adventureland to the Anaheim Convention Center. They even let other convention attendees come on board for a ride!
