Erika Christensen and Ed Westwick talk about starring in ABC's 'Wicked City'

NEW YORK -- We've been introduced to Kent and Betty on ABC's "Wicked City", and now that they've met there's no looking back.

Ed Westwick plays serial killer and necrophiliac Kent Grainger who meets Betty Beaumontaine played by Erica Christensen. Her character is a nurse with her own demons and happens to be a mother of two. It's the fact that she's a mother that prevents her from becoming Kent's next victim. "I was excited about playing Betty because I think she's going to go off the deep end somewhere," Christensen said.

As for his character being a murderer into the world of necrophilia, Westwick said he was intrigued by the character of Kent. "He's just so fascinating and multilayered, and it was new territory for me and I knew I was going to have a challenging wonderful experience," Westwick said.

This week picks up where the pilot left off; Betty meets Kent out at a club and they pick up a girl. According to Christensen, we "should be worried for that girl!" This is just the beginning of Betty getting wrapped up into Kent's world of murderous pleasures on the Sunset Strip in 1982.

"Wicked City" airs on ABC Tuesdays at 10/9c.
