Fans of the new ABC sitcom "Fresh off the Boat" are looking forward to new episodes.
The season premiere introduced a funny, heartwarming fish-out-of water story that begins when a Chinese-American family with three boys moves to Florida to pursue dad's dreams of owning a western-themed restaurant.
It's the first television sitcom starring an Asian family in 20 years.
ABC7 News Anchor Kristen Sze got a chance to chat with the actors who play mom and dad on the show, Randall Park and Constance Wu. And one of the first things they talked about was the title of the show. In a Facebook post, Sze opened up about how she moved to the Bay Area from Taiwan when she was just 8 years old, and talked about her experiences as a young immigrant.
You can watch new episodes of Fresh off the Boat Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC7.
