Jimmy Fallon has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering a hand injury on Friday.

Following Thursday's taping, Fallon had been reportedly eating at Scalinatella, a restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side where he snapped a picture with fans.

After leaving, Fallon suffered an injury to his hand and went to the hospital, where a specialist recommended he undergo surgery immediately, according to TMZ.

The Tonight Show's Twitter account confirmed that Fallon had been injured and that Friday's taping had been canceled.
