NEW YORK -- The 12th season of "The Bachelorette" premieres on Monday with JoJo Fletcher!

She took some time out on Friday to talk to reporters about this upcoming season.

She started off by saying that she is "genuinely happy" with how the show went and even how it ended, but fell short of saying that she was "in love", engaged, or even in a relationship.

JoJo also addressed concerns about her ex-boyfriend Chad that we saw try to win her back with a sad bouquet of flowers and a note on Ben's season of "The Bachelor". She says a tabloid saying that they were back together for a while right up until "The Bachelorette" started to film are "completely false". She added that her relationship with him is in her past and she tries not to think about it.

One thing is for sure, we will be seeing a lot more of JoJo's family.

"You will be seeing my family and I think that they were the same way, in that they were very honest," JoJo said.

So that means we will have more fireworks between her family, in particular her brothers, and her suitors.

She did admit that her hometown visit left much to be desired. "Watching back last season that was just a nightmare of a hometown date, you saw my mom chug straight from a bottle, that's how stressed she was," JoJo said.

JoJo feels that since she is in control this time around, things are a bit different and because her heart may not be at risk as much as the guys' her family is more confident that things will work out for her.

But when it comes down to it, the guy she ends up with will have to try to have a decent relationship with his in-laws, "Their opinion does really mean a lot to me," JoJo said.

You can watch JoJo meet the 26 men vying for her heart this Monday at 9/8c on ABC!
