SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- We've partnered with the team at Hoodline - the hyperlocal neighborhood website - to bring you what's new and happening this weekend in San Francisco.

There's plenty to do this weekend, starting with the 2016 Festival of the Sea at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.

So, head over to Hyde Street Pier this Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a special re-dedication ceremony for the park's 1895 West Coast schooner - the C.A. Thayer. They'll also rechristen the vessel.

For the entire family, check out the sand castle building contest at Aquatic Park and live music from local and international artists. Admission is free.

If that's not your vibe, Noise Pop's 20th Street Block Party is also happening this Saturday. It's in the Mission District on 20th Street between Bryant and Harrison streets. It runs from noon to 6 p.m. Listen to music performances by Miami horror and Chicano Batman. There's also lots of music and art. The free event hopes to help the Mission Laguage and Vocational school

And last but definitely not least, throw on your dance shoes for the 20th anniversary party for Lindy in the Park.

It's both Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Help celebrate San Francisco's longest running swing dance venue. If you miss it this week, don't worry because their dance party at Golden Gate Park has been held every Sunday, weather permitting, since 1996.
