CAMPBELL, Calif. (KGO) -- A South Bay woman is on a mission to find her true love. She's going old-fashioned to find a man with whom she had a chance encounter on a bike trail.
At Campbell Park, flyers are up for a lost dog, but the woman who posted one flyer is looking for lost love. In a world where meeting people is as easy as logging on to a computer, Angie Le describes herself as old fashioned and shy. Back in July, the medical social worker from San Jose was walking near the popular and heavily traveled Los Gatos Creek Trail and ran into a cyclist. She had seen him before, but this encounter was different, this time she felt a connection.
"He goes on this side and I went on this side -- you know with the bike, 'Hi, How are you mam?' I was 'ooooomph' -- So I walked that way," said Le.
"So that moment sparked this mission to find him again?" asked ABC7's Matt Keller.
"Yes," said Le.
Le regrets not saying more and shortly after that encounter started posting flyers, hundreds of them, all along the Los Gatos Creek Trail hoping to catch her crush's eye. She describes him as being in his 40's, tall, with piercing blue eyes and a fit, cyclist's body.
"You're hoping that you find your -- I don't want to necessarily say prince charming..."
"He is to me," said Le.
Le is hoping others will help her in her search she's set up an email address for tips... campbelljuly2014@gmail.com mailto:campbelljuly2014@gmail.com Other trail users have seen the flyers and promise to keep an eye out for her.
For Le, the hope is I'm looking for, turns into she's found him.
