Tweet shows Ben Affleck as Batman with new Batmobile

The Dark Knight has returned, and this time with a new ride.

On Tuesday morning, director Zack Snyder tweeted the first official photo of actor Ben Affleck in costume as Batman, while standing alongside his new Batmobile.

The new suit has smaller ears that are less defined than previous versions. And the new ride looks a little sportier.

Affleck caught a lot of flak when he was cast last year. But the actor warned everyone to wait to judge until you saw.

The "Man of Steel" sequel is set to be released in 2016.
