Viola Davis needs no introduction. The twice-Academy Award nominated, and two-time Tony winning actress even has a secondary wikipedia page devoted solely to her long list of award nominations and wins, and remains an inspiration as a strong female lead.

Gracing her presence with Dancing with the Stars fan favorite Cheryl Burke, Davis says her latest role, on ABC's How to Get Away with Murder, is "awesome." Watch below.

The show casts Davis as the brilliant, charismatic and seductive Professor Annalise Keating, who gets entangled with four law students from her class "How to Get Away with Murder." Little do they know that they will have to apply what they learned to real life, in this masterful, sexy, suspense-driven legal thriller.

How to Get Away with Murder premieres on Thursday night, Sept. 24 at 10|9c.

The show also stars Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, and Liza Weil.
