Winning $2,100 on "Wheel of Fortune" doesn't usually make someone a star, but the spotlight is now on a 21-year-old from Arizona.

Trent Girone became the first person with special needs to appear on the show. He's been a fan of "Wheel of Fortune" since he was two.

The young man -- who's survived nine brain surgeries, one open heart surgery, and has Asperger's and Tourette syndrome -- has won the hearts of viewers nationwide.

Trent made such an impression, that #TeamTrent was trending on Twitter overnight.

He wrote on the show's blog that the appearance was one of the best days of his life and he thanked host Pat Sajak for making sure he was safe and comfortable in light of his physical challenges.

You can watch "Wheel of Fortune" weekdays at 7:30 p.m. on ABC7.
