A festival that aims to improve relations between Mexico and the U.S. is back for a fourth time. Festivities kick off on Sunday in San Francisco.

It showcases musical talent, inspirational talks from artists and scientists, and even offers a wine tour of Mexican-American wineries.

This year, the festival kicks off on July 16 the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra at Davies Symphony Hall and on July 21 and 22 a female mariachi band will play at the SF Jazz Center.

"These girls were born in New York, they are American, they are playing mariachi songs most of the time. They do play American songs with a mariachi style," said Paula Linares, consul for cultural affairs at the Mexican Consulate.
