JONESBORO, Ark. (KGO) -- A teenager's split second decision while riding in a car with his dad saved his father's life.

Michael Jones immediately grabbed the wheel of his dad's car in an Arkansas town after his father suffered a seizure while driving. Despite not knowing how to drive, the 13-year-old was able to avoid traffic and get help for his dad.

The teen's Boy Scout troop recently presented him an award for his quick thinking and composure under pressure.

His father is doing well.
