Girl battling cancer gets 6th birthday wish
A young cancer patient's birthday wish has come true.

HOUSTON -- A young cancer patient's birthday wish has come true.

Kyssi Andrews wasn't expected to make it to her sixth birthday. But on Tuesday, she celebrated it by going on a dream date with her knight in shining armor. He's actually a 300-pound bodybuilder with a big heart. His name is Troy Cousin.

"This special occasion was brought on because we just feel like she should be celebrating in any way possible and for her to go on a dream date with someone who needed to be blessed in the same way that Kyssi was being blessed," her mother, Marla Andrews said. "She was being blessed by being able to celebrate her sixth birthday, but then again we have someone who was chosen selectively to take her on a date because he himself has had his own personal relationship with someone who was diagnosed with cancer."

Cousin picked Andrews up in a limousine and escorted her to Oceanaire Restaurant in The Galleria for her birthday celebration.

Andrews is battling Stage 4 lung cancer, and it's the fourth time she's had to fight the disease. She's being treated at MD Anderson.
